No Loops for user multi-pads. Multitrack sequencing not possible without styles. Well Yamaha PSR740 is one of the best availble feature rich arranger in that price range. I have played Roland G series, E- series, Korgs I series and Casio CTK- series. I found PSR740 really good. Sound quality is excellent especially the sweet voices are great. 16MB sample wav rom with 64 ntes plonyphonic capacity works great. Vocal Harmoney is a value added feature and it really works if you have the suggest mic and mic level settings. Style creator helps to re-create a new style. The mixer function is very usefull especially while you are playing midi files from the disk drive you can chage track parameters like voice etc. This machine will never let you down if you buy it once! I bought a yamaha psr 740 about one year ago. I bought it becaus I thought it was a full keyboards to make music. I like creating music other than playing it. Yamaha 740 was the keyboard but unfortunatly 740 did not have broken scales such as 7/ 8.
