General music Releases PRP6 and PRP7
Generalmusic has released the latest creations in keyboard technology. The new GEM PRP6 and GEM PRP7 represent the perfect marriage of advanced digital technology and the comfort of a portable digital piano.
Acoustic features from some of the world's finest grand pianos have been analyzed and every slightest nuance of the sound has been reproduced to create the PRP6. This 76-key keyboard features 32 new presets including ten exclusive piano sounds and 444 orchestral sounds which are GM-GMX compatible to add color and variety to any musician's music. Also added to the PRP6 to enrich and personalize the user's performances are 22 reverbs and 22 effects, which are connected to the presets.
The PRP6 offers a six-watt plus six-watt stereo amplification system that reproduces the complex sound diffusion of an acoustic piano from the full tones all the way to the subtle tones. Two pedals, a damper pedal and a soft pedal, are also featured on the PRP6, while MIDI connectors allow the PRP6 to be connected to other MIDI instruments, expanders, and sequencers.
The PRP7 offers 48 new presets including ten exclusive piano sounds and 444 orchestral sounds that are GM-GMX compatible, including organs, choirs, strings, guitars and basses. Twenty-two reverbs and effects are also featured on the PRP7, which are associated with the presets to enrich and personalize any musician's performances. With an ergonomically designed control panel, the presets and main functions are easily operated on this 88-key keyboard.
It also provides many unique features including an internal library of 96 famous musical pieces written for the piano. It has a practical sequencer with a capacity of 8,000 events, which allows the musician to record and play back personal performances. A joystick allows easy control of the pitch and modulation of each sound
The portable cabinet on both the GEM PRP6 and PRP7 offers stylish design, together with lightness and portability, allowing musicians to operate with ease while still delivering a stellar performance.
