YAS Artist services
From classical and jazz to pop and new age, master performances around the country have benefited from an historic loft in New York City’s Chelsea district and the people who bring it to life. Yamaha Artist Services (YAS) has been providing a unique service since its inception in 1987 by facilitating the use of Yamaha pianos by top artists at venues throughout the United States. Performers can also visit YAS to take advantage of practice facilities, complete with a wide selection of Yamaha pianos, and readily available technical support.
YAS coordinates the selection, delivery and maintenance of its instruments, and serves as a liaison for artists, managers, producers, performing arts organizations and facilities. From its Manhattan headquarters, YAS supervises a highly select dealer network that represents a bank of more than 200 pianos nationwide, including concert grand, grand and upright acoustic pianos, Disklavier pianos and Clavinova digital pianos. These Yamaha pianos are dispatched–by direct shipments from YAS’ available inventory and through the dealer network–to one-of-a-kind events such as a video shoot high on an oceanside cliff, perennial favorites including the Newport Music Festival and the Monterey Jazz Festival, and everything in between. The result is a system that combines time-sensitive response with expert technical assistance.

The keystone of the YAS arsenal is the CFIIIS, Yamaha’s incomparable 9-foot Concert Collection grand piano.
