The capsule is an OS110 Optema dual diaphragm condenser capsule which is produced in a state-of-the-art clean room facility in Conneaut, Ohio. The OS110 inside measurement is 1.1 in., a true large diameter externally biased capsule. It utilizes 3 micron thick, high tension, diaphragms made from the latest high strength polymer film, and a 24K gold sputtered diaphragm coating. Each capsule is hand adjusted for proper damping and consistent frequency response. The E350's advanced electronics begin with the high speed OpAmps for optimum performance and very high gain. Add active servo headamp circuitry in place of interstage capacitors used in other microphones in order to extend low end response, and provide less colorization of the audio signal due to the reduction of phase anomalies and of bandwidth limiting, often associated with capacitors. The E350 provides a remarkably high level of performance with extraordinary detail, transparency and flexibility. The Equitek Series has created a new standard for quality and value.
