Consisting of a Fostex stand-alone 24 track recorder, an RME Digi9652 Hammerfall sound card, and a C-Console software interface for controlling/monitoring, the D2424 system meets the increasing demand for a complete 24-track recording solution.

On the front end, you get the most powerful stand-alone 24-track recorder that includes 8 in/24 out balanced analog I/O, 48 channels of ADAT optical I/O, RS422, Word Clock, 5.1GB removable hard drive, 32 virtual tracks, and a fully-featured hardware editing system. On the back end, the included Digi9652 Hammerfall sound card turns your PC into the most powerful digital mixer with the lowest latency in the industry. Transfer 24 channels of audio in and out of your PC, fly individual tracks into your favorite PC editing software, burn CD's, or simply process some tracks.

No matter what you need, the Fostex D2424 Recording System is the most complete and reliable recording system on the market. With everything you need included – the Fostex D2424 24bit/96 kHz digital 24-track hard disk recording system is the recording industry's biggest no-brainer since the invention of the microphone.
