Universal Audio Digidesign ProTools TDM plugins now for Windows XP too
Universal Audio, a manufacturer of high-quality vintage audio hardware and DSP software plug-ins for digital audio workstations, announced the release of their highly acclaimed Digidesign ProTools TDM systems for PC's running Microsoft Windows XP Operating System. Universal Audio's highly acclaimed and award-winning classic compressor emulations, LA-2A, 1176SE, 1176LN, the Pultec EQP-1A vintage EQ and Cambridge EQ have all been "go-to gear" on the Apple Macintosh OS9 and OSX platforms and are now fully cross-platform with the arrival of Windows XP versions.
"It's a testament to the potent skills of our software engineering team that we are now able to rapidly release Windows XP versions of all our TDM plugs hot on the heels of the recent release of the Cambridge EQ for TDM." said Matt Ward, President of Universal Audio. " We have worked very closely with the supportive developer team at Digidesign to make this happen in record time and are now in an ideal position to make future TDM releases simultaneous on both Mac & PC platforms as we already do with UAD-1."

The US MSRP for TDM versions of the 1176LN, LA-2A, Pultec EQP-1A and Cambridge EQ sold separately is $395. Universal Audio also offers three bundles at preferred pricing; both compressors in a bundle with an MSRP of $695, both EQs in a bundle with an MSRP of $695 and the compressors and the Pultec EQP-1A in a "Studio Bundle" with an MSRP of $995.
