(/) Leading the pop-punk breakthrough is Simple Plan, who also employ VOX’s ToneLab for their energetic, driven sound. Featured on popular soundtracks including Scooby-Doo and New York Minute, Simple Plan is moving quickly to the musical forefront. Guitarist Jeff Stinco remarks, “I love the concept and the practical aspect of modeling technology, but I often find modeled tube amp sounds pretty harsh and cold. In the case of the ToneLab, I found the sounds were more realistic and more natural than anything else I’ve heard.” Stinco adds, “I'm demoing all my song ideas with the ToneLab right now.
