Handling Noise of Microphones
Noise is usually a big problem in live sound situations and PA systems. Although you could use a noise suppression system it's a much better idea to eliminate noise at the source. Microphones usually don't generate the electric types of noise that amplifiers create. Guitar amplifiers with distortion are usually a bigger problem. But in many live sound situations the microphones can also cause a lot of noise.
