The Basic Blues Piano Keyboard Rhythm

In the previous lessons we covered a lot of things like the 12 bar blues, a 4 bar blues, many blues chords for piano and keyboard and much more. We even played complete chord progressions using a blues rhythm. But so far we have actually not played any real blues rhythms.

What is a piano or keyboard blues rhythm your ask? Listen to the next example using 8th notes. Are those really eight notes?

Try playing the next rhythm by listening to the included drum rhythms and simply ignore the sheet music rhythm and notes. This is also a very basic left hand rhythm you can use in blues music and songs.
