Violin Playing Basics
This week we'll start with the real playing basics like holding the violin, the hand positions, holding the bow, etc.
Playing and holding the violin is not logical, and it also is not something your body is made for. So before we start let's talk about the right way to do hold and play the violin.
The right way is not the same for everybody, and it is also not something you can do right away. Your arms, joints, muscles and even your brain all have to learn how to hold the violin without getting tired. Especially in the beginning it is better to take it easy and let your body adjust to this unnatural position. Once you get used to it, it will also become more natural.
So don't strain anything, and give it some time.
