Matrox Video Tools Release 3.1 for RT2500 RT2000 Realtime Editing Platforms
Matrox Video Products Group announced that Matrox Video Tools release 3.1 for the RT2500 and RT2000 realtime video editing cards is now available on the Matrox website as a free download to registered users. It will also be available on CD from the Matrox web store at a nominal shipping and handling charge. New features include multi-language support, Intel Pentium 4 support, Matrox TurboDV export engine, and much more
Highlights of the 3.1 release include: · Multi-language support for English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish · Matrox TurboDV software engine with dual-processor support to perform ultra-fast DV exports · Intel Pentium 4 support · Matrox G550 display card support · Independent display drivers that allow easy updates for Matrox display graphics card users · New Matrox audio mixer to allow level adjustment for audio recording and playback · Additional control over colourisation settings allows users to apply a realtime soft-edge perspective effect to a colourised clip
"The productivity enhancements provided in release 3.1 add even greater value to the RT2500 bundle," said Patrick Beaulieu, Matrox senior product specialist. "In particular, users appreciate our new scalable TurboDV export engine and support for dual-processor systems that can make DV mastering up to four times faster."
