Matrox Windows XP support for RT2500 RT2000 Realtime Editing Platforms
Matrox Video Products Group today announced that Microsoft Windows XP has been validated for use with the Matrox RT2500 and RT2000 realtime video editing cards. Matrox Video Tools release 3.1 is required and is available on the Matrox website as a free download to registered users. It will also be available on CD from the Matrox web store at a nominal shipping and handling charge.
Matrox RT2500 is a low-cost, professional, realtime editing platform designed for corporate communicators, event videographers, and hobbyists. It includes all the tools needed to easily capture analogue and digital video from a variety of sources, edit projects in real time with broadcast-quality titles and 3D effects, then deliver to tape, DVD, CD, and the web. The comprehensive software bundle includes: Adobe Premiere for realtime editing, Inscriber TitleExpress for television-quality titling, Matrox MediaTools for automated single-pass DV scan and capture, Ligos LSX-MPEG LE for accelerated MPEG-1, VCD, and SVCD output, Sonic Foundry ACID Music for music track production, and Sonic Solutions DVDit! LE for DVD authoring.
