Yamaha YBB-202MWC marching only Tuba deep, rich sound improved projection
Yamaha Band & Orchestral Division will unveil the YBB-202MWC marching only tuba at Winter NAMM 2004.
The new tuba has a .728 bore and a 21-in. bell and includes a deep, rich sound with tuba was field tested by three of the country's top drum corps - The Cavaliers, Cadets and Crossmen - and received a resounding stamp of approval from all three.
"The feedback we've already received is that this marching tuba has the deep, rich sound improved projection, playability and overall feel. Used primarily in Drum & Bugle corps, the that today's marching ensembles are looking for," states Kurt Witt, Manager, Wind Instruments.
The YBB-202MWC is available in a lacquer-finish or silver plate (YBB-202MSWC). Both include a durable, three-piston wheeled case in traditional marching configuration. Both models are currently available.
