Yamaha M425 T116 M475 and P22 Upright Pianos
Yamaha Corporation of America, Piano Division, is adding a new model to its line of 44" acoustic upright pianos, and is also offering several new finish options for selected existing uprights. Production started in March 2005 for all models.
An attractive, affordable upright piano and several striking finish options were showcased at Winter NAMM 2005.
The M425 44" Gallery Collection Acoustic Upright Piano takes its technical cues from the M450 upright, including a solid Spruce soundboard and full length ribs, solid copper wound bass strings, hard Maple bridges, aluminum alloy action rails, Yamaha balanced action, Spruce keys with hardwood buttons and grand piano key travel. But its look is all-new, with a high-gloss cherry finish and simplified cabinet style.
The T116 45" Professional Collection Acoustic Upright Piano, a popular upright model noted for its exceptional performance in home, church and school settings, was previously available in Polished Mahogany and Polished Ebony. Yamaha now adds the option of two additional lacquer finishes – one with and one without silver hardware. The high polished with silver hardware is a limited edition, with only 100 units being produced. The second T116 model will be produced in satin lacquer finish.
On the M475 44" Gallery Collection Console Piano, a new Dark Cherry finish (M475IPDC) joins the appealing Traditional Mahogany and Italian Provincial looks that have long appealed to consumers.
Lastly, the workhorse P22 45" Professional Collection Acoustic Upright Piano adds a new Satin Black Lacquer finish (MSRP) to its existing selection of Satin American Walnut, Black Oak, Dark Oak and Light Oak.
