Yamaha Q Class Trumpet YTR-01MQ debuts
Yamaha Corporation of America, Band & Orchestral Division, announced the Q-Class series at Winter NAMM 2005. The Q-Class series features three student-level instruments: a flute, alto saxophone and trumpet, packaged in an attractive, full-color display that includes quotes and images from professional musicians Jim Walker (flute), Dave Koz (saxophone) and Bobby Shew (trumpet).
Designed especially for student and beginning players, the Q-Class series features price points below standard models, while maintaining high quality standards. This price breakthrough provides new market opportunities, as the Q-Class instruments offer cost conscious consumers a quality product that meets the demands of beginning musicians and allows them to fully explore their musical aspirations.
All Q-Class instruments come packaged with a Product Support CD-ROM. A great tool for educators, retailers, professionals and students, the disc provides a wealth of information applicable to musicians of all levels: fingering charts, “Tips From the Pros,” product information, instrument maintenance manuals, performance and educational videos, and links to music association websites.
The student level trumpet (YTR-01MQ) offers an industry leading gold-brass leadpipe that resists corrosion commonly found in beginning trumpets and provides a warm tone. The unique, visually appealing trumpet has a retro vintage matte finish and is easy to maintain.
