Yamaha RGX320FZ Double Cutaway Electric GuitarThe new RGX320FZ and RGX520FZ are Yamaha’s newest double cutaway electric guitars featuring set necks, carved tops, body and neck binding, and unique Yamaha features like finger tail pieces (found on the AES Series), a 3-D headstock design and custom neck inlays.Yamaha Guitars announced its first true double cutaway set-neck guitar at an incredible value. Answering the demands of many younger players looking for smooth playability and aesthetic beauty, Yamaha’s new RGX Series gives players the total package. “The market for lower-priced electrics has become increasingly competitive, and that usually means sacrificing features, quality, or both,” says Bryan Savage, marketing manager, Yamaha Guitars. “But with the new RGX electrics, you don’t have to settle for less—whether you’re on a budget, or just need a second instrument.” The RGX320FZ features a Nato carved top body, a thin, 25.5” set-in Maple neck and smooth 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Electronics include a pair of Yamaha humbuckers, master volume and tone, and a 3-position toggle switch. Chrome hardware, diecast tuners and a choice of Black or Pewter finishes complete the look. “Today’s rock musician calls for instruments that not only look great but feel great too,” adds Savage. “The RGX320FZ and RGX520FZ have contemporary designs and progressive features that today’s younger players require.
